The project aims to develop, evaluate, and apply a new econometric framework for testing the performance of multiple forecasting models, which should solve the issues that are faced by researchers and decision-makers when using existing approaches. Implemented at the Institute for Economic Forecasting. Type: postdoctoral research project, won in a national competition organized by the Executive Unit for Financing Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI). My role: Communication Expert for Target Group 2

The project aims to identify and analyze the causes of university dropouts after and/or in the first year of studies, as well as to propose measures that prevent and reduce of the risk of dropping out from university studies. The project is implemented for students enrolled in their first year, bachelor’s degree, at the Faculty of Finance and Banking from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. The ultimate goal is to increase academic performance of students in the financial field. Type: noncompetitive grant. Click here for more details.
